Accounted for 33% of his overall search traffic. Since then, I've increased overall site traffic by 107% and reduced my reliance on top 10 articles by 13%. How did you make it happen? As I mentioned earlier, while I was focused on creating new content, I was having my team update old and obsolete content. Below, I would like to explain one by one what my team actually did. Find pages that were previously rated Using Google Search Console , you can look back at data over a fairly long period of time. You can get data for the past 16 months. First, let's compare the current data with the data for the same month last year. Click on "Date" and then "Compare". Next, select an older time period (should be one year ago) and select today's date. I continued this work for a while. Comparisons to older periods allow my team to find better targets before updating older content. If you select the above option, you will get a report like the one below.

The first piece of content you want to find is a page that says, "It used to get a lot of traffic, but now it doesn't." As you can see from the image above, my articles about Instagram used to get a lot of traffic, but not anymore. Please note that I select the oldest date first. This is to understand which of the old contents India Phone Number used to be displayed in good rankings and is now ranked lower. By doing this, you can see what content used to be highly rated by Google but is no longer rated highly by Google. Next, look for content that has never been highly rated by Google. Investigate content that has never been rated highly by Google Log back into Search Console and look for pages that have a high number of impressions but a low number of clicks .

Here's the easiest way to find these pages. Set the date to the last 28 days and check the metrics for impressions, clicks, and CTR. Sort your CTR in ascending order (lowest percentage at the top, highest percentage at the bottom). Generally, pages at the top of this list have the most potential. In other words, Google rates these pages and ranks them high, but they don't get the number of clicks they deserve. In these cases, it's not just a simple title tag and meta description. In most cases, it is necessary to modify the content of the relevant page. Now, let's create a list of pages with high potential.
